On Monday, April 10, at 2:00 p.m. SHARP, the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery will conduct a World War II KIA/MIA Veteran Burial for U.S. Army Air Forces Veteran Second Lieutenant Wayne Lou Dyer. 2LT Dyer remains were recently discovered in Horst, Germany where he was killed in action and remained for over 78 years.
Please help us spread the word about the return of this World War II hero and ensure 2LT Dyer is buried with the respect and dignity he deserves. Members of the Central Texas Community are encouraged to attend.
2LT Dyer will receive military honors, and his niece will accept the United States flag on his behalf.
The Texas Veterans Land Board works with the local communities and fellow Veterans service organizations to ensure that NO Veteran is EVER left behind.
